How keep your makeup looking fresh

It is actually pretty easy to have your shadows and lipsticks last the entire day, when you know the tricks of the trade.

Lipliner is your friend
For lipstick, you first want to apply a lipliner. This will help prevent feathering or bleeding during the day. Start by applying at the corner of your lips and work your way up to the arch. After your lips are lined go ahead fill in it in. Then apply your lipstick.

A Primer is especially helpful prior to eyeshadow.

Before applying your eyeshadow all you need to do is add a primer. You can find these products at most beauty stores. I use a primer called Insurance by Too Faced that I bought at Ulta. I highly recommend this product. I use it every day before applying my eyeshadow and it works fantastic. Keep in mind when using your primer that is only takes a little tiny amount. Applying too much can decrease the effectiveness and of course cause you to run out sooner than necessary.
